Abstract

This work analyzes the proposal of the Cuban philosopher, Raúl Fornet-Betancourt, about intercultural dialogue. Faced with a world increasingly globalized by economic rationalism and monoculturalism, the author considers that the alternative is the criticism of a “de-philosophizing of philosophy” (logocentrism), which has not allowed the recognition of other cultures from a context in which the polyphony of voices (dialogicity) is heard by all without prejudice to any.
