Abstract

The objective of this reserach work is to describe the features that the noun compounds have from the semantic and morphological point of view in the digital journalistic language and its comparison to the printed journalistic language in what productivity it concerns. The research takes as its theoretical background of Bartos (1999), Chela Flores (1992), Finol (1993,1996) and Villasmil (2003). A corpus of 60 structures from the printed journalistic language, which produced the following results: 1. The inflectional block proposed by Chela Flores (1992) prevails, 2. The morphological and semantic features detected from the earlier research works by Villasmil (2003) remain.
