Abstract

At present, education is in constant innovation, as it continually undergoes both positive and negative transformations, which allows teachers to highlight certain drawbacks when looking for a teaching-learning strategy that helps them alleviate fatigue and anxiety. distraction of students when acquiring new knowledge. Therefore, this work aims to analyze the use of active pauses supported by technological resources to strengthen reading comprehension in primary basic education. The methodology addressed is qualitative, documentary and descriptive; since it allows us to understand and interpret the data obtained during the investigation, using techniques and instruments such as observation and data collection. The results show the importance of active breaks as a learning strategy, which, supported by technological resources, contribute to the strengthening of reading comprehension in primary school educational institutions, thereby increasing relaxation and concentration in teachers and students to increase attention and interest in learners
