Abstract

Germán Cardozo Galué and Arlene Urdaneta Quintero Social Collectives and Popular Participation in Hispanic American Independence, this work brings together the presentations presented and discussed at the II International Congress on Independence Processes in Spanish America held from July 8 to 12, 2002 in the city From maracaibo. The event continued at the University of Zulia to the one convened in July 1999 by El Colegio de Michoacán, National Institute of Anthropology and History and Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás Hidalgo and held in the city of Morelia, Mexico.
