Educational projects: comparative study between Venezuela and Colombia
Abstract
The Comprehensive Community Educational Project (PEIC) and the Institutional Educational Project constitute the category of comparison between Venezuela and Colombia; To this end, this comparative-documentary study focused on determining congruences and discrepancies between PEIC and PEI, using the comparative method structured in four phases: description, interpretation, juxtaposition and comparison, proposed by Hilker and Bereday (1972). The results are: congruence as they arise on the basis of external diagnosis carried out by international organizations UNESCO, ECLAC in the face of the ineffectiveness and low productivity of both countries; At an internal level, they respond to educational policies that reform curriculum and laws. Discrepancies regarding implementation time; in Venezuela since 1996; Colombia in 1992; The latter consolidated the bases for participation through school governance and an institutional evaluation system, very incipient in Venezuela.
