Abstract

We can understand management as an object of study, a professional activity or a lifestyle, whose great theoretical advance has occurred in this century under the conceptual paradigm of the industrial company. Management is presented to us as the cause and solution of the most diverse problems, hope and despair, illusion and disillusionment. In short, in a fun game of paradoxes and uncertainties that now announces the crisis of management itself: management has not taken us to the promised place, or cannot do so. He is indebted to us. Now it turns out that we are moving rapidly towards the information and communications society. A set of necessary questions arises, then: What will Senior Corporate Management be like in the coming years? Will it look like the current one or will it have other secrets? Will it be more industrial or more communicational? Will it be as modern or will it be more postmodern? What could be the profile of the new manager? Undoubtedly the questions can multiply and that is interesting for the search when we suspect that management has entered into an existential crisis: What is the key question in the era of communications? Communicate or manage?
