Abstract

In recent years, this one in particular, a very innovative topic has been talked about insistently, both at conferences and at research and higher education seminars, and that is the link between the University and the Productive Sector. However, when we go back in time, we can see that the relationship has antecedents originating in the need that the University and the productive sector present to expand and deepen that relationship, so that one complements or covers the need of the other.

Through this scheme, companies can gain access to innovative knowledge, the development of new processes, execution of projects at affordable costs, advice and a team of top professionals. For its part, the University would be able to self-finance its research through the commercialization of its services and technologies. Having as a starting point the premise remains that the Universities and in particular the Rafael Belloso Chacín require having an agency that deals with this technology transfer, through the market of its main product, the intellectual production of its researchers. Likewise, the University – Productive Sector relationship is made viable.

Through this work, the design of an Office for linking and Marketing the intellectual production of the University Research Centers with the Productive Sector of the environment is proposed.
