This article is the result of research entitled ‘Learning Communities for the Development of Logical-Mathematical Skills in Educational Settings with ICT Mediation,’ which shows that mathematics teaching faces a challenging context characterised by its high level of abstraction, the predominance of traditional methodologies focused on the mechanical repetition of content, and a disconnect from students' everyday reality. The objective was to propose ROADMAP as a teaching strategy through Free Educational Software (SEL) for the development of logical thinking at the basic education level. A quantitative approach was adopted, with a feasible project modality, structured in three phases: Diagnosis, feasibility, and design of the proposal. Data collection was carried out using a Likert-type questionnaire. The predominance of traditional tools and limited use of technologies in learning and knowledge was evident. Most of the population stated that teachers implement active methodologies to a low extent, which supports the relevance of the proposed roadmap. The planned incorporation of SEL, accompanied by continuous training, is emerging as a viable alternative for transforming mathematics teaching. A pedagogical roadmap was designed that articulates teacher training, SEL, and active teaching strategies. The main limitation is the appropriation of technologies for learning and knowledge by educational actors.
