Abstract

The objective of this research was to analyze in constructivist model as a basis for the educational development of society. Methodologically, it is documental under the qualitative paradigm, using observation as a data collection technique, conducting a bibliographic documentary review in five central areas related to models, education, constructivism, development, and society, based on authors such as Arroyo (2021), Bolaño (2020), Cáceres and Alvarado (2024), Rodrigues and Maldonado (2023), and Cuyo (2024), among others. The qualitative method was selected because it allows the collection of information on the research topic, to generate new knowledge through the results in the gathering, organization, or analysis of the obtained information, conducting a systematic bibliographic search in Google Scholar, Scielo, Redalyc, Dialnet, limited to English and Spanish languages. The results demonstrate the close relationship between the constructivist model and social development, which is why it is concluded that constructivism is an educational model appropriate for any society, as it seeks to educate based on the knowledge the individual already possesses; therefore, the individual will contribute to their own formation and traditional lectures, where only the teacher imparts knowledge, will be reduced. Finally, it is important to have leadership capable of making new educational proposals that demonstrate evolution, because if education is always conducted in the same way, different results cannot be obtained, which is a social demand, especially in the most underdeveloped regions, where changes are not observed over the years, and they always have to wait for others to evolve in order to then take their models and apply them to themselves, causing them to always be one step behind and be less developed and competitive.
