Requirements of the Information Control System in Oil Industry Works Inspection Companies

Abstract

The purpose of this article was to establish the requirements of the information control system in works inspection companies of the oil industry of the Maracaibo municipality, Zulia state. For this purpose, the theoretical postulates of Organization For Standardization (ISO, 2001) were used; document management standard 15489 (2001); ISO 30300 (2011) standard; ISO 30301 (2011) standard; Bustelo and Ellis (2011); Sánchez (2014); Nayar (2010) among others. Methodologically it is a descriptive research with an experimental design which had a population of 16 subjects responsible for document management and a group of four organizations dedicated to that work. An instrument made up of 12 items, duly validated and with a reliability of 0.86, was developed. Among the results achieved was evidenced in the elements, human, financial and regulatory talent, their presence in management, despite the weaknesses identified in technological matters, a determining aspect for the instrumentation of the system, therefore, this situation represents an Advantage for the company based on the implementation of a formalized system.
