Society demands that companies comply with social responsibility; the objectives of creating employment and generating wealth today must involve the agents surrounding these organizations. Citizens, as workers, play a key role for companies to comply with social responsibility, which favors their quality of life and that of their community. The objective is to analyze the benefits derived from worker participation in corporate social responsibility in Venezuela. For this purpose, a review of normative documents and theoretical contributions was carried out. The research is descriptive, with a documentary design. The results show that: 1) Social responsibility has a significant relevance since the approval of the Venezuelan Constitution in 1999. 2) The worker's quality of life depends not only on the remuneration received for his work (fair salary), but also on a good working environment. 3) The productivity of the company has an impact on the development of the local productive apparatus, which promotes the endogenous social development of the communities. It is concluded that there are advances in legislation on corporate social responsibility; however, there is a lack of a special rule in Venezuela on this matter.
