Abstract

The main objective of the research was to contrast what was reported by various authors on how organizational sustainability is managed within the labor market in this so-called industry 4.0. To this end, a bibliographic review on the topic was carried out, also after said review based on the authors consulted in this context associated with the fourth industrial revolution which is transforming the labor market, and requires work adaptability in terms of new skills and roles in a constantly changing labor market, likewise, at a global level, it generates both challenges and opportunities for workers, companies, among others. In this context, organizations have the duty to transform themselves by promoting the digitalization and automation of processes to integrate labor sustainability within the context. It is essential to support professionals in the acquisition of new advanced technological skills to adapt to this new and constantly evolving work environment. Although it can offer significant benefits in terms of efficiency, innovation and sustainability, it also poses challenges related to workforce adaptation, data privacy and cybersecurity which must be addressed to make the most of the opportunities provided by this industrial revolution.
