Analysis of Transformational Leadership at IPM Supply C.A.

The present study aimed to analyze transformational leadership at IPM SUPPLY C.A. to understand how this leadership style influences organizational performance and development in a specific local context. A descriptive methodology was employed, utilizing a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The entire population of 18 employees holding various positions participated by responding to a 54-item Likert-scale questionnaire specifically designed for this research. Data analysis involved descriptive statistics and the Chi-Square goodness-of-fit test to validate the statistical significance of observed response distributions. Results revealed a predominantly positive perception of transformational leadership among the employees, with over 70% of responses concentrated in the "Always" and "Almost Always" categories. Creativity emerged as the most distinctive characteristic of leadership at IPM SUPPLY C.A., with leaders recognized for consistently generating innovative ideas and discovering effective methods to perform tasks. This aligns closely with Palomo’s (2013) view of creativity as a fundamental pillar that enables leaders to inspire change and continuous improvement. Although interactivity and vision were also perceived as present leadership traits, their frequency and consistency varied among respondents, indicating opportunities to strengthen ongoing interaction and clear communication of vision to foster deeper commitment and organizational cohesion. In conclusion, transformational leadership at IPM SUPPLY C.A. is effective and widely acknowledged, with solid strengths in creativity and recognized areas for enhancement in interactivity and vision. Optimizing these dimensions may increase the leadership's transformative impact and sustainability within the organization.
